  Recently, Amerman Elementary School hosted a STEAM Career Day. The elementary STEAM teacher, Kim Chenoweth, came up with the idea and invited parents of Amerman Elementary to sign up to present if they had a STEAM-related job. Ms. Chenoweth said there was an overwhelming number of willing presenters. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math.

In 2012, when Cooke moved into their current building, they carried on the Thanksgiving Feast tradition. It was paused temporarily during Covid, but has made a return this year, stronger than ever.
