Enrollment in Fall 2025-26 (next school year)

Enrolling all grades for the 2025-26 School Year!

Attention current Young 5s parents: You do not need to enroll your current young 5s student into Kindergarten. They will automatically be placed into their home/boundary attendance area school for the 2025-26 school year.

Enroll Your Student in 3 Easy Steps!

STEP 1: Gather all Necessary Documents for Enrollment

The necessary documents are listed below:
  • Student Birth Certificate
  • Parent/Guardian Picture ID (driver’s license or passport)
  • Proof of Residency – 3 Total Documents as Detailed in the Enrollment Document Requirements PDF below.
  • Immunization Record
  • Vision Screening (Kindergarten Only)
  • Signed Kindergarten Waiver (all Young 5s students must also have this completed)

For a detailed description and checklist of the required documents, please review the Enrollment Document Requirements page before continuing to Step 2. Once you have all the documents gathered, please save them electronically for easy upload to our secure portal.

STEP 2: Complete the Online Pre-Enrollment for Each New Student

The online pre-enrollment sets up a secure account on our student data system where you will enter student and household information along with primary contact and emergency contact details.  You will securely upload the documents gathered in Step 1.

STEP 3: Visit your student’s school website and Stay Informed!

All six of our elementary schools are fully-engaged in The Leader in Me framework, which emphasizes a culture of student empowerment that helps unleash each child’s full potential. To find out more about this innovative school-wide model, visit the Leader In Me page on the district website. If you have any additional questions about your child’s school, click on "School" on the navigation menu to go to your specific school's website.

In addition, please note that Northville Public School Early Childhood Education and Extended Day programs offers Kids' Club at each elementary school. This tuition-based program allows parents the option to have their child participate in a before and/or after school childcare program. Kids' Club is offered as an option on school days from as early as 7:00 A.M to the start of school and from school dismissal until 6:00 P.M.

If you have questions or need help with this process, please call our Student Data Department at 248-344-3524 or send an email to [email protected].
