  For this Classroom Close-Up we checked out the newly created Peer Link lunch at Hillside Middle School. A group of general education students signed up to be linked with a student with special needs. During lunch, these students meet up with their peer in the Raider Corral to have a quieter space to eat and play games.

  For this Classroom Close-Up we stopped by Connie Rzemien's half day preschool class at Old Village School. They have been learning all about apples; the different varieties, where they grow, what you can make with them. They finished the lesson by learning how to make applesauce!

  For this Classroom Close-Up we were invited to Shannon Cullen's Robotics class at Meads Mill Middle School. The 8th graders were building clawbots which are robots that can be programmed to move around and interact with objects. The students were challenged to move as many blocks as they could in an area and compete against other teams in their class.
