Diploma Programme (DP)

International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP) and its overall interdisciplinary structures include six cross-curricular courses in an integrated two-year program. The core components and the distributions in the subject courses form a well-supported secondary program rich with personal development, project management, and enrichment opportunities.  Much of the rigor in the DP comes from varied opportunity and depth of study, and the personalized aspects of the curriculum are balanced with well-designed curricula from a well-known college preparation pathway, one that asks students to stretch intellectually and to work cohesively with others (i.e., students and staff) in pre-collegiate manners.

All current Northville High School sophomores (grade 10) interested in admission to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme will apply during the spring of their sophomore year, prior to the close of the general registration period.

We attempt at NHS to have as open of an admissions policy as possible for this two-year programme. Please reach out to Dr. Davis, the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, with specific questions.
Each spring NHS works with 10th-grade students and families who are interested in the IB Diploma Program and its courses.
