A reminder to Northville school district residents that TODAY, Tuesday, October 10, 2017, is the last day to register to vote in the Tuesday, November 7, 2017 Election.

If you haven’t yet registered to vote, please visit your local city or township Clerk’s Office or any Secretary of State Office TODAY. Printable voter registration forms also are available on the State of Michigan website.

To vote in the November 7, 2017 school election, you must be registered to vote by TODAY, October 10th; be a U.S. citizen; be at least 18 years of age by Election Day, November 7th; and be a resident of Michigan and the Northville Public Schools district.

On the November 7th ballot for Northville Public Schools’ voters is a $104.85 million bond proposal to upgrade school facilities and sites, enhance existing building security, and provide modern learning environments throughout the district.  If the bond proposal is approved by voters, it is estimated that the school district will be able to maintain the existing school debt levy (3.64 mills) and issue the bonds with a ZERO INCREASE to the current debt millage rate.
