Northville Public Schools is excited to announce a series of technology upgrades made possible through the 2023 Bond. These enhancements will significantly improve the classroom experience for our students and teachers, providing new tools for learning and collaboration. This April, we are rolling out several key technology initiatives that will transform our educational environment.
New Chromebooks:
- We are introducing 3,600 new HP Fortis 14 Chromebooks across our district. These durable devices are designed to meet the demands of daily student use and will offer a robust platform for learning, creativity, and collaboration. With these Chromebooks, our students will have access to the latest educational apps and resources, enriching our curriculum and fostering essential 21st-century skills.
New Touchboards:
- As part of the bond-funded improvements, we are also replacing all Promethean boards throughout the district over the summer and into the fall. These new touchboards are brighter, faster, and more responsive, eliminating the need for mounted projectors. Additionally, we are installing updated document cameras to further enhance classroom interactivity. To ensure a smooth transition, we will be providing comprehensive training and support for our educators.
