The Northville High School Class of 2023 is 643 strong! They are the 155th class to graduate from Northville High School.
The Northville High School Senior All Night Party Committee created digital photo albums for each of the senior celebrations for parents and students to view and to add their own pictures to.
The seniors last day of school was on Tuesday, May 23rd which consisted of a senior breakfast, a school-wide clap out, and a senior sunset celebration at the high school.
The seniors were then welcomed back to their home elementary school for yet another fun clap out.
And the ever-popular Senior Car Parade was held on Saturday, June 3rd. The 'Ville - Northville's News and Lifestyle Magazine put together this great recap video.
All of these fun celebrations led up to the big commencement day. You can watch the graduation ceremony here. Northville High School principal Tony Koski said during graduation, "NHS Class of 2023, it was an awesome year because you are not normal, you are abnormal, you are extraordinary and you are exceptional." He went on to say, "It's not normal to have 97 merit scholars, this class has that. It's not normal to have 81% of your class being Cum Laude (GPA 3.0-3.49), Magna Cum Laude (GPA 3.5-3.79) or Summa Cum Laude (GPA 3.8-4.0), 35% of your class earning Presidential awards for educational excellence and having 38% of your class being National Honor Society members and thrown into that is 31 IB Diploma candidates. State recognized bands and choirs. In athletics, it is not normal for a school to earn 9 Division championships, 11 Conference championships, 4 District championships, 6 Regional championships, 2 State runner-ups, 1 State championship, even 1 National championship and we still have 3 teams going. For most schools, earning these distinctions it might take 1 decade, 2 decades or even 3 decades. This is one year at NHS for an abnormal NHS class of 2023."
And finally, the seniors got to hang out one last time as a whole class at their Senior All Night Party at Northville High School.
