NHS Drama Club Presents Seussical the Musical

The NHS Drama Club visited our elementary schools recently to give a preview of their upcoming show: Seussical the Musical. The show will be performed at Northville High School, April 27 and 28 at 7pm, and April 29 at 2pm and 7pm.

If you open your mind, Oh, the thinks you will find Lining up to get loose... Oh, the thinks you can think When you think about...Seuss! Seuss! Seuss! Seuss! Seuss! Seuss! Seuss! Oh, the thinks you can think! Any thinker who thinks can come up with a few! Think a trip on a ship To the Vipper of Vipp Or to Solla Sollew... The lead cast of Seussical has been going around to all of the elementary schools and we've been just giving them like the first 15 minutes of the show leaving them on a cliffhanger hoping to see them on opening night. Oh, the thinks you can think when you think about Seuss! Seuss, Seuss, Seuss, Seuss... Think of an elephant up in a tree Think of a person too tiny to see! It's a great, fun show, the vocals are amazing, the costumes are bright, it's a colorful set, lots of smiling faces and great energy. Oh, the thinks you can think When you think about Seuss! The NHS Drama Club is very excited to present a mashup of some of literature’s most creative, inventive, and fun stories…SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL.

The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, the residents of Whoville, Amazing Mayzie, Gertrude McFuzz, Yertle the Turtle, the Grinch himself and dozens of other classic Seuss characters jump off the page in this non-stop celebration of friendship, dedication, and integrity. Its wall-to-wall music and imagination come to life with colors, movement, and laughs…a fitting springtime musical feast for families.

Over 90 NHS students have been working feverishly since late January to bring Dr. Seuss’s two-dimensional characters and worlds to three-dimensional life. Join The Cat in the Hat as he weaves multiple stories together in a roller coaster of entertainment.
