NHS Celebrates First Inclusion Week

In 2021, Northville High School was selected as a Special Olympics National Banner Unified Champion School. This recognition means NHS demonstrated commitment to inclusion by meeting 10 national standards of excellence.

Next week will be NHS' first Inclusion Week. Each day will involve a fun theme and an activity during lunch.

On Friday, February 18th, the Northville Unified Basketball team will be playing at home in the main gym at 4pm. They will be playing against Novi. Around 5pm Friday night, NHS will be presented the actual banner that shows we're a Special Olympics National Unified Banner School. Please join us at the Unified Basketball game and the banner presentation.

A short and simple, but certainly powerful, video about inclusion at this link.

In addition to all of these fun activities, Northville High School is also hosting their first Inclusion Week Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Michigan. The plunge will take place the week of February 21st. Please visit Northville High School's Polar Plunge page to make a donation.
