Results of March 2020 Sinking Fund Replacement Millage – Thank You!

Dear Northville Public Schools Families, Staff and Community Members,
 
The uncertified results of the March 10, 2020 Northville Public Sinking Fund Replacement Millage are below! We are extremely pleased to report the following results:
 
Yes: 6,798 votes (63.32%)
No: 3,453 votes (33.68%)
 
The Northville Board of Education, district leadership team, teachers and staff would like to take a moment to gratefully acknowledge the support of the entire Northville school community in this effort to protect our community’s investment in our schools provide opportunities to improve and expand technology in classrooms and create safe environments for our students..
 
The new Sinking Fund millage extends the .9519-mill levy allowing the district to address the most critical needs, while preserving the district’s General Fund dollars to accomplish the district’s core mission of instruction and student learning.
 
Our sincere thanks also goes out to the many volunteer members of the Citizens Committee for Northville Schools, as well as the many school families, staff and community members who worked tirelessly in support of this effort. Strong schools are the foundation of a strong community! We are thankful for the incredible support of our families and community members who recognize the link between exemplary schools and strong property values, and who make the education of our young people a priority.
