Dear Northville Public Schools Students, Parents, Staff and Community Members,
As we head into the Thanksgiving weekend, I can’t help but reflect on all that we at Northville Public Schools have to be grateful for, including our innovative and compassionate teachers and staff who open the world of possibilities for our students; our incredible school families and community members who value the education of our young people in both their words and their actions; and, most importantly, our more than 7,000 students who come to school every day ready to learn and be an active part of our learning community. Their voice is an integral part of the learning process, and to our ongoing growth and success as a community.
As we head into the holiday season and prepare for the upcoming new year, I would like to take this opportunity to share updates in a number of areas and fill you in on some of the great things happening in our schools. Attached please find a copy of this school year's second edition of "A Message from the Superintendent," a communication with news about important issues impacting Northville Public Schools, as well as items celebrating some of the incredible work of our students, teachers and staff every day in our classrooms and across our community.
I hope you'll take a few moments to click around to the topics of interest to you, listed on the left side of the first page - and at the bottom of this message.
