Northville Board of Education reaches two-year contract agreements
with Northville Education Association and six other employee groups
The Northville Board of Education ratified a two-year contract with the Northville Education Association (NEA) at its Tuesday, July 7, 2015, Special Call Board Meeting. The contract was ratified by the NEA membership at a contract ratification meeting on Friday, June 26, 2015.
Two-year agreements with six of the district’s other employee groups also were approved by the Board at its Tuesday, June 23, 2015, meeting. These groups include the Northville Association of School Administrators (building principals, assistant principals, the athletic director, and program supervisors); Central Office Administration; Teamsters Local 214 (maintenance, food service, and educational technology); Office Support Personnel from across the district; Early Childhood Education and Extended Day program employees; and K-12 Paraprofessionals. In addition, the Board approved the Superintendent’s 2014-15 evaluation and 2015-17 contract under the same terms as the NEA and district administrators. The district expects to reach an agreement with its remaining employee group of Para-Educators in the near future.
