Northville’s State of the Community event celebrated the power of partnership between the city, township, and schools, with Northville Public Schools Superintendent Dr. RJ Webber highlighting the district’s focus on human connection, innovation, and excellence. From restorative practices and AI integration to national recognition and state championship wins, NPS proudly showcased why it's ranked the #1 district to teach in Michigan.

Hillside Middle School recently celebrated its rich cultural diversity with an International Day event featuring a performance by the Furteelay Dance Group and a variety of interactive stations. Students explored family heritage displays, sampled international foods, and participated in activities like Chinese paper art, henna tattoos, and origami.

Northville’s Science Olympiad teams had an outstanding showing at the Michigan State Tournament, with Northville High School placing 3rd, Meads Mill Middle School finishing 7th, and Hillside Middle School earning 11th out of over 50 teams statewide. Across all teams, students secured multiple state championship titles, dozens of medals, and top placements in a majority of their events.

Northville High School’s Charity Week kicks off April 28, with fun events and fundraisers supporting the Jenna Kast Believe in Miracles Foundation. This year’s efforts will benefit Malayna, a teenager battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma, with a goal of raising $10,000 to help make her dream trip to California with her family come true.
