Registration is now closed and the waitlist for Session 1 has been turned off. The waitlist for Session 2 will remain open but there is no guarantee a spot will become available.

The deadline to register your child was Friday, March 22, 2024.
Registrations submitted before March 22nd are confirmed for enrollment in the 2024 Summer Program. All those completing the waitlist form will be notified if space is available.

Summer Programming Sessions:

  • Session 1 - June 24, 2024 through July 18, 2024 (No school July 4th)
  • Session 2 - July 22, 2024 through August 15, 2024

Your child will receive reading, math and science instruction throughout the course of each day. In addition, STEAM activities and Social-Emotional Learning will also be woven into instruction. Over the last two years, and for this upcoming summer, federal funds were allocated to school districts to offer summer school programming in an effort to address student learning loss experienced by many students throughout the COVID pandemic.  That funding, which has provided stipends for administration and instruction, supplies and student transportations, has enabled us to offer a free summer program through the Summer 2024.  Those COVID relief funds, however, will expire on September 30, 2024.

Recognizing the wide participation we have had in our summer programming, and the benefit it offers for some students, the Administration will seek other grant opportunities to maintain a free summer program beyond Summer 2024.  However, given the drastic loss in federal COVID relief funding beginning October 1, 2024, we may not be able to provide a summer program in 2025, unless alternative grant funds are made available.
