Each classroom is taught by a special education teacher with an early childhood endorsement and a classroom paraprofessional.

 

 

A special educator with an early childhood endorsement teaches classes along with various support staff as needed. A speech and language therapist is in the classroom 1-2 times a week, an occupational therapist works in the classroom twice a month and a social worker joins the classroom regularly. There is also a paraprofessional in the classroom daily.

 

A Teacher Consultant/Consultant Psychologist is assigned to handle the transitions in and out of these classrooms. The T.C. or Consultant Psychologist are the main Contact for parents when making decisions about their child’s educational plan.
