Diploma Programme (DP)

Recognized by leading universities across the US and the world, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP) and the overall interdisciplinary nature of the six cross-curricular courses make this integrated two-year commitment a program. The core components and the balances in the courses across the curriculum are the reasons why many colleges and universities look to IB DP so fondly -- as a supported secondary program rich with personal development, project management, and enrichment opportunities.  Much of the rigor in the DP comes from varied opportunity and depth of study, and the personalized aspects of the curriculum are balanced with well-designed curricula from a well-known college preparation pathway, one that asks students to stretch intellectually and to work cohesively with others (i.e., students and staff) in pre-collegiate manners.  

 

All current Northville High School sophomores (grade 10) interested in admission to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme will apply during the spring of their sophomore year, prior to the close of the general registration period.
