Young 5's Program: KinderSTANGS
Program Highlights
- Full day, five days a week
- NO COST to families of eligible students
- Same start/end times as our elementary schools
- Follows the NPS school year calendar
- Before and after school care is available to students at a cost
- Bussing will be offered to those students who meet the district's transportation criteria

Students who turn 5 after
December 2, 2026 are NOT eligible for Kindergarten or Young 5s for the
2026-27 school year. Children in this age group can enroll in our tuition based preschool program. Visit the Early Childhood website for more information.
