International Baccalaureate
Imagine a school where students and teachers are on a quest for answers; a place where they reflect on their work and acknowledge their challenges and strengths; a place where they work in collaboration and encouragement focusing on the whole child and life long learning in relation to others around the world. These are some of the principles and practices that characterize the International Baccalaureate (IB)-- at both the Middle Years and Diploma Programme levels.
IB Schools of Michigan
NPS is an active member of the IB Schools of Michigan consortium. IBSOM’s mission aims to promote the growth and continuous improvement of all International Baccalaureate (IB) schools and programs across Michigan while expanding equity and access for every student. They further support IB communities, like ours, by advocating for supportive state policies and offering professional development that strengthens IB programs at every level.
IB Advisory Council
IB and Northville Public Schools are committed to supporting successful IB graduates. The program undergoes continuous evaluation to ensure quality and relevance. As improvements are needed, the IBAC committee plays an essential role in guiding systematic yet flexible changes to strengthen the program.
