Strategic Planning Update
Building Tomorrow Together: Northville’s Strategic Planning
Northville Public Schools is embarking on a district-wide journey to define the future of learning. This collaborative process brings together students, staff, families, and partners to ensure our district evolves alongside our community’s expectations.
"Northville has a proud tradition of excellence built through generations of partnership. We are working with the Michigan Association of School Boards to focus on our mission, values, and goals. Northville Public Schools (NPS) uses two distinct, yet cohesive, frameworks to guide its continuous improvement efforts:
Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process (MICIP)
This is a continuously updated process required by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). Its primary focus is on educational improvement, such as our current goals for Critical Thinking and Self-Awareness & Self-Management.
Strategic Planning
This process is updated less frequently and is locally directed by the School Board. It has a broader scope that encompasses academics, operations, communications, and the overall future vision for the district.
