After 33 amazing years of teaching physical education in Northville, a local legend is preparing for her final lap. Mrs. Robbert, the beloved PE teacher at Ridge Wood Elementary, has been named the 100.3 WNIC Teacher of the Week as she prepares to retire this June.

Creating Magic in the Gym

For over three decades, Mrs. Robbert has possessed an extraordinary gift for making learning fun for everyone. She is known throughout the community for her ability to transform a standard gymnasium into a place of wonder. Her students don’t just attend PE; they experience:

  • Engaging and inclusive daily lessons that motivate every child.
  • Theatrical Halloween transformations that ignite the imagination.
  • December "Reindeer Games" that bring seasonal magic to school.
  • Legendary Field Days that serve as the highlight of the academic year.

A $100,000 Heart of Gold

Mrs. Robbert’s impact extends far beyond the school walls. Over the past decade, she has led the Kids Heart Challenge with unwavering dedication. Under her guidance, Ridgewood students have raised a staggering $100,000 for the American Heart Association.

A Well-Deserved Honor

The team from Jay Towers in the Morning recently surprised Mrs. Robbert at the school to present her with the Teacher of the Week plaque and gift cards to Kroger and Amazon.

While Mrs. Robbert may be retiring, her legacy of joy and connection is woven into the fabric of Ridge Wood Elementary and the Northville community. Her impact will continue to be felt for years to come.
