Northville Public Schools Welcomes Jessica Fisher as New Assistant Principal of Northville High School

A medium close-up portrait of Jessica M. Fisher, a blonde woman with a warm smile, wearing a dark green crew neck shirt and small stud earrings, posed in front of a neutral gray wall.

Northville Public Schools is excited to announce the appointment of Ms. Jessica Fisher as the new Assistant Principal of Northville High School. Bringing over 15 years of diverse educational experience—spanning classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and high school administration—Ms. Fisher is well-equipped to support the academic excellence and vibrant community that defines Northville.

A Warm Welcome from Leadership

Northville High School Principal Tony Koski expressed immense enthusiasm for the unique strengths and student-first philosophy Ms. Fisher brings to the building:

"We are so excited that Ms. Jessica Fisher is joining us as a member of our administrative team at Northville High School. She brings experience, expertise, enthusiasm, and passion to this position. Most importantly, she understands the importance of building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents and also leads with our motto that 'Kids Come First.' We are fortunate to have Jess as our new 9th Grade Level Principal because all she brings to NHS."

A Proven Leader in Student Success and Academic Growth

Ms. Fisher transitions to Northville from the Walled Lake Consolidated School District, where she has served as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Walled Lake Central High School since 2023.

Notably, her leadership in inclusivity led Walled Lake Central to achieve national recognition as a 2025 ESPN Honor Roll School for Michigan through the Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools program.

Prior to her leadership roles in Michigan, Ms. Fisher spent over a decade with Pinellas County Schools in Florida. As an Assistant Principal at Seminole High School from 2018 to 2023, she championed equitable access to Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment courses and led a graduating class to a historic 99.2% graduation rate—the highest in the school’s history.

A Passion for Teaching, Learning, and the "Whole Child"

While her administrative background includes a strong foundation in athletic leadership and school operations, Ms. Fisher's primary passion is instructional leadership—supporting teachers and advancing systems that promote student growth, safety, and well-being.

"I believe strong instruction, collaborative teams, and supportive leadership are essential to student success," says Ms. Fisher. "I welcome the opportunity to focus deeply on teaching and learning, supporting educators, and advancing systems that promote student growth and well-being at Northville High School."
