District Committees
In addition to many opportunities for parents to be involved at the school level on School Improvement teams, PTA committees, and related groups, opportunities for participation on District committees are also available. Standing committees include the District Curriculum Council, International Baccalaureate Advisory Council, and the Health Advisory Board, alongside periodic committees focused on a specific area or task which may vary annually. Interested parents are advised to monitor building newsletters distributed by principals, as these publications are utilized to periodically solicit participation for various committee appointments.
