| Strong leadership in an organization often determines the degree
of success of a goal or strategy. The successful implementation
of technology in our schools will require this magnitude of leadership.
Leadership should not be limited to the board of education, superintendent
or building administrators, but to each member of the Northville
learning community that has an impact on students each day. In addition,
citizens and members of business should step forward to take an
active role in promoting and developing Northville as a learning
community. Technology professionals in the community are also needed
to play an active role in developing curriculum applications that
fully integrate technology in a real-world experience for students.
The recurring process of developing and revising the district's
technology plan provides for shared decision-making and collaboration
among representatives of all stakeholders. Numerous members of
district level technology and curriculum committees, including several
technology professionals, have contributed invaluable expertise to the
technology plan for Northville Public Schools.
